Hi!
The TÃV (the german version of MOT) complained that the headlights of
my wifes Defender 90 2.5TD have to be replaced, so we travelled
through several spare parts shops, but with no success - and original
Land Rover seemed a bit expensive. So we asked my mother in law, she
works in the former GDR for a small car parts and tuning shop, and she
said, "hmmm, about 18cm, they look like Trabant lights - take them
with you and have a try".
What should I say, they fit perfectly!! Now the very british Defender
90 has headlights with a label saying DDR VEB something
