Hi
I am a Landyzone newbie from Lincolnshire and need expert help from you guys.
I have looked through the threads and this seems to be a recurring problem on the threads but I haven't found a definitive answer yet.
Basically, I have a 1998 2.5 DSE that cranks over but does not fire. I have fuel to the injector pump but no fuel to the injectors.
Problem started after battery went flat and was replaced. I then lost glow plug light on dash - engine still turns but will not fire.
I have sent the BECM and ECU for checking and all is well. They were tried in another vehicle and everything was working fine so problem is with my vehicle.
Do you think a resync is needed? If so is the tool on ebay worth buying?
I am now desperate and even considered putting the car on ebay for spares and repair but I will lose too much money.
Can anyone recommend a good auto electrician in Lincolnshire who can check and resolve my problems.
Look forward to any help or advice

They are out of sync the security code from the engine ECU needs inputting into the BECM. You need a Syncmate for diesels to do that or good diagnostics. Nanocom is best. Don't know who you sent them to but they maybe pulling your leg. Or you have done something to them since they came back to lose sync.

What about the emergency shut off valve? That would stop fuel going past injection pump.

If it's not working it will yes. One would think that had been checked before the question was asked. No glow lamp is also a problem. He needs diag to find out what is wrong. :);)
