Hi All,
So I spent all weekend putting in a new electric fan (from Famous
Four, looks like a well made piece of kit) and removing the diesel
tank which had become incontinent.
I'm hoping to order a new tank this week, in the meantime I plan on
painting the tank area/chassis with hammerite.
So, when the new tank arrives, should I be painting/sealing it? The
original one wasn't sealed.
Unfortunately, while trying to get the old tank out, I had to cut the
union for the fuelpickup that goes through the sender. Just couldn't
get the union undone where it was without breaking the sender. Once I
cut it, I undid the union with a socket. The pipe end/union isn't
listed as a part on paddocks. Will my local garage me able to make one
up? It's just a right angle length of pipe with the union on the end.
are they standard? Probably something a motorfactors would have in the
UK (if I was in the UK)?
Sorry of these are daft questions
Cheers
