I'm looking to replace my fuel lines on my discovery 300tdi the ones that run along the chassis from the fuel tank to the fuel filter. Ideally I want to make them like the original plastic ones. Dose anyone know if you can buy the made up or if not what size pipe and connectors I need. What's a good tool for making my own.

Just buy nylon tube, no tools need, just a decent knife.
You need od and id of pipe, od not that important, but id is.
If you search there are a few posts where the id and od are listed.

Using the knife to cut the pipe off the tails, do not run the blade down the length of the hose tail, rather skin it instead, the fine scratch if you use the blade lengthways is enough to draw air in.
