fuel leak

happy new year to you all still haveing probs with me td4 still leaking fuel ive narrowed it down to what i think is the injector pump. not sure if its the pump(IF THATS WOT ITS CALLED) or one of the two pipes cannot see properly the manifold is in the way it only leaks when its frosty and only for a minute or to but its fookin me drive up any way my question is what is it like to change the pump imean

have a good check of those two hoses with a mirror if necessary, that's the most likely cause of the leak. if your lucky just nipping up the hose clips will cure it otherwise you may need replace the hoses....

cheers for that thought about changeing the hoses but the inlet manifold is in the way of the top fuel hose bit worried about takeing it off is there any gaskits i need to get when i take it off

yes there are gaskets but you don't need to remove the manifold to change them hoses. sure it's a bit awkward but still easier and quicker than removing the manifold.

thanks again will have ago later need to find some fuel pipe now trouble is shes dragging me out shopping will let you no how i get on thanks again

I think i'd get the proper shaped hoses from the stealer cos the bends are quite tight and straight pipe might kink when fitted.
