Hello all, so... As the titles suggests. I got into my 300tdi 90 the other day and it took a little longer to start.. I got about 50 feet down the road to a junction and when I went to pull out and stepped on the throttle I had no response. It ticks over and idles... But after I drive it it seems to be starved of what I'm guessing is fuel. I tested the supply to the filter... Didn't seem to be a good
supply so replaced the pump... Following that got sprayed in the face with go go juice so thought bingo... But its still doing it. Soon as I drive and change gear the revs drop and I have no throttle response. If I restart it is revs and then dies after 50feet or so. I've also looked inside the tank... No dirt... Can anyone help? Many thanks

I had a similar issue on my 200tdi. It turned out to be drawing air into the fuel.

I am no diesel expert, but people always advise replacing the fuel filter when there are fueling issues.
Don't forget that there is a sedimentor near the fuel tank that can fill up with crud. Watch the plastic drain plug on this, they can shear off, it may be easier to undo the central bolt.
