front windscreen wiper noise

Hi All

Well there we go. I thought I was all ready for winter and car running great.

I haven't had a good look yet, but.....

Windscreen wipers sound as though the mechanism has a worn joint.

Is this something I just change the entire mechanism or can I replace problem joint/hinge?

Probably find its the wipers that are loose in the arm ,my brother had this with his one,slight knock when the wipers are right up and turning to come back down,I'm sure he just squashed the fittings a little to make them tighter in the arm,
