Very basic question on 90.
Is it Ok to use grease in the front hub swivels when the seals are beginning
to leak oil?

Oh yes, it may even cure the leak!

You should only use the special "one shot" grease supplied for the purpose.

It is not really a cure. The grease may be too thick to leak out but the
water can still leak in !!!
