Looking for 2 decent doors for my 1990, G Reg.
Should I be looking for doors up to a certain Year, were they changed? or will all doors fit up to date??

Thanks

Join the club, although I started looking first, so if you see any, be a good chap and let me know!

I'm seriously considering the GRP ones - I know someone who has fitted them and they seem very strong!

Still lookin but not sure what year fits, someone mentiond that they changed them after 2006.
So will I need them before this??

They changed the doors around then, But only the design. Which is now pressed steel.
You can tell as they'll have rounded corners on the inside of the doors.
Although they will still fit either way.

Thanks Mate. Just been looking at second hand prices, even the rusted ones are going for good money.

Oh don't I know it. Probably cheaper to repair yours if they're not to far gone.
Just a waiting game really as their are bargains out their. I paid £250 for a set of late td5 doors, But it took me bloody ages waiting for some to come up on ebay. Not the cheapest, But cheaper than most that where about at the time.

Ive been lookingat sp series3 doors....any reason not to ? I believe i need to move the strike plate and that is all ?

Seems like a reasonable way to get a method of getting in and out of the vehicle without paying the earth?

I have looked at every available option - I have literally just stripped the drivers side door down as this is the worst one and have discovered the problem:

The entire door has split and someone has tried (and frankly failed) to weld it back together!

May sound daft, but I'm no welder and wouldn't even try to repair it!

I also have window dropsie as the channel things seem to have fallen apart - any idea which bits I need to replace the entire thing?
