My1988 90 CSW has got lots of holes in the front cross member so I want to fit a new one.
To make sure I am looking at the right bit, it is a round section 100 mm diameter which bolts across the chassis via two oblong plates.
Where do I get the best deal and is it an easy job to do.
It looks like a simple job of unbolting the eight bolts and refitting the new one, but you just know that with a Landy sometimes things aren't always that easy, any tips on fitting appreciated.

Thanks

easy job , will cost you buttons.
buy new nuts and bolts with the cross member, you might have to grind the old ones out.
as far as im aware its just unbolt , remove the old and bolt a new one in its place.

drill a drain hole in the new one if it doesnt already have one , swish a quarter pint of oil in there to stop it from rusting and grease between chassis and cross member (it will stop it from rusting in there and if its tight will make it easier to fit)

those bolts are hard to get , if you need a part number let me know and i will find you one.
price up a genuine part from a main dealer first , you might be supprised.
