I found they understeer badly without the prop, especially the 1.8 petrol models. If you're on a tight budget (who isn't?) the poly bushes are the cheapest way to fix all three diff mounts. Unfortunately there's no good cheap way to fix dodgy VCU support bearings. The cheapo's don't last.
