Hello everyone, Im Morwenna and I live in Clun,Shropshire.
I purchased my freelander in June from a person in Bridgend so had to travel a good way to collect it, it drove fine and only had the usual knocks and rattles for a 2001 vehicle.
A week ago thursday on the 27/Oct/2016 while in 2nd gear and breaking to go around a tight corner the airbags deployed bringing the car to a sudden halt and filling the car with what I thought was smoke but now know it to be powder. My mother whos 79 was hit on the knees by the glove box being blown down and was far enough back not to have much impact with the airbag, I on the other hand sustained severe bruising to my right upper chest, and a little to my left, my face and neck and the lower part of my left arm received powder burns, my ribcage felt tight and i was winded but worse of all is the shock. I am still bursting into tears at the drop of a hat. This is all being made worse by the insurance company but lets not go there, what I need is answers as to why this happened, my life is in bit and I cant get past this, I did nothing wrong, can anyone out there help me please as Im now desperate!
