Freelander stater motor

Hi, I need to change my starter motor on my 1.8 2000 freelander. But I've been told by some breakers there are 2 different ones. One is for an early freelander which is different. But some say there's no difference. Can anyone help me with this to make sure I get the right one. Mine is a early 2000.

you would be better off taking the old unit with you as all motor factors want exchange,that way you deffo gonna get the right one ,by the way theyre around the £60 price exchange,,hope this helps
