freelander central locking

my 1998 freelander xedi locks don't work,i have to unlock the drivers door with the key,but can not unlock any off the other doors at all they seem to be deadlocked,the fob will lock the drivers door once opened but will not reopen, the fob will arm and disarm the alarm ok but not the locking,also the rear door will only open if you fully open the rear window first. has anyone got any ideas what could be causing it. cheers

Have you changed the fobs battery id start with that if not..
Also maybe you single point entry lime me and ull need to press tbe fob twice to open the other doors
Another thing to check isthe battery/alternator if its low on power /not charging properly and needs replacing it could cause this.

Will they unlock when you press the door lock switch on the dash ?

Sounds like the unlock button on the remote has got issues. Is the remote in good condition or have the buttons worn away and got holes in?
