still trying to find answers to the gearbox issue
i have a freelander 1.8 petrol with a PG1 box so i have been told, wanted to fit a 220 td L series engine which also runs the PG1 box
took the 1.8 engine out and attempted to mate this up with a spare diesel box i had sitting there but it wont butt up?????
have been informed that the boxes are changable but the ratio's will be a bit diff
the diesels have a big plate behind the flywheel the 1.8 k series dont so will i have to remove this for the freelander box to fit???
