I am a disabled person who has started to struggle with getting in and out of my Merc C 180. So have been looking at 4x4s as they are easy for me to access with the seats at a higher level. I like the look of this freelander 2005 HSE 2lt Diesel auto. But people are saying stay away from them as lots of problems. But people that have owned one have nothing but praise for them. I am baffled as what to do now ?

The people that have owned them are correct, they are reliable and don't give much trouble. Some rear diff issues on a few and the odd wheel bearing other than that just general servicing.

I had a td4 auto, took it from 35k to 135k, sold it earlier this year, really miss it, was rock solid, easy to drive, would buy another tomorrow if I could.
