The wiring around the dual pole Temp sender unit on the top of the engine behind the Alternator has two wires going back into the loom just where they join a blck cable comes out on a spade conector? can someone have a look and tell me what this cable shoud be connected to ? When I put it to earth the temp gauge rises to Hot but I cannot find where to connect it, the head has recently been changed and the fitter left the wiring in a bit of a mess, greatful for any help.
