Afernoon, I have a 2010 freelander 2 and all has been great so far.
in the last week the radio has started cutting out intermittently along with the satnav screen, once it cuts out I lose any option to connect bluetooth and the telephone button on the main head unit does nothing when pressed.
Another Oddity is if I toggle the answer call and end call buttons on the steering wheel it changes radio setting info?
Ive disconnected the battery and shorted the terminals in case of a spurious voltage held somewhere but to no avail, I think it may be something to do with a seperate bluetooth module but wondered if anyone else has experienced this issue?

Disconnecting and shorting the battery cables isn't a good thing to do. It induces a sudden high current out of the electronics, which electronics doesn't like. Yer betterer oft just disconnect the earth cable and power will drain naturally as it's used up by the electronics.
