Got my first landy from Doug at bespoke off-road in Oxfordshire. Talked to him before driving down and he was very honest that the bodywork was a bit rusty but mechanics, chassis and bulkhead were brilliant dispute being off a hay farm. Picked her up and Doug mentioned a slight oil leak, said 50 quid job and knocked the money off the price.
Took her to the local guy today, bit nervous it was more of a job than Doug said but no, said she's in great condition.
Don't think he sells much, but does chassis replacements etc. if anyone is looking for a first landrover and is nervous of buying private I'd recommend them.
Hope this is helpful to someone cuz I was really worried about buying a shed because of my lack of knowledge
