Ford Kuga Better?

I have just got my 7 year old Range rover vogue back from the garage with its new gearbox. Don't ask the cost!!
Prior to this I was getting a lift to work in a friends 8 month old Ford Kuga.
I have to say wow. I still love the range rover.
It has just cost me a lot of money to repair but it is definately worth it. The ford is just a ford. Inside it was like my wifes c - max. Practical but bland. My old Range Rover just oozes class in comparison.

My question is....

Which is better

A 2004 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 (lpg)
or a 2010 Ford Kuga

I have my opinion.

I Know.. I Know..Nicer drive RR, Better for yor bank balance Ford ... Easy.

Was the cost of the new gearbox about the same as the price for a new Ford Kuga?!

I towed 2 Ford Kugas up the hill in our village during last year's snow.
I didn't have to tow any Range Rovers.

It's not really a valid question for me I'm afraid, its a bit like saying which is best, a new fridge or your best mate you've had since you were in junior school
