2003 Facelift model Freelander 1, Black, roof bars, sidesteps, glass roof windows, 6cd in-dash stereo, air con (will be re-charged) SE Model with 'winter pack' which includes fuel burning heater, heated front screen, heated half leather seats, MOT til November, taxed til end of June. In overall very good condition for age, a few minor scratches and 'car park' dinks but nothing to get upset about. I have had this from November 2011 and it has worked well, it does have a problem on cold starts where it smokes for a short if you don't pre-heat it a few times, but once off the cold mark it's fine.
I've spent a small fortune on this baby and I've fallen out with it now.
Small fortune = All injectors refurbed, new maf sensor, new map sensor, new glow plugs, then it has been fully serviced including the fuel filter in the rear wheel arch, a new thermostat as these can get 'lazy', cooling system flushed and new antifreeze, engine flushed and top grade fully synthetic oil used, front and rear brake pads / shoes, etc etc etc etc. Lets just say that I have done as much as I can now and I'm looking to upgrade her to a newer low mileage 5 door freelander, or maybe a freelander 2.
It drives fantastic and my wife will kill me if I don't get her something as good, which will be difficult !
