I'm a mod on another forum and something which has been found very useful there might be good here too. When a sale has gone through and is completely sorted the user can archive it themselves which moves it to a new sub section of the for sale section so that people can still see it and see how much things are worth but it takes them out of the normal for sale section so that what is left there is actually for sale. It saves there being pages of stuff that is no longer available and people having to look through them all just to find out that they are too late.
