My 2002 Disco has gone 'flat' in engine response. Slows to 50mph on long motorway hills and will no longer tow my caravan more thnn 25 up minor hills. Used to be brill in the French Rhone Alps - but alas it's lost it :( .

Two Land Rover agents, Guy Salmon Portsmouth and Harwoods Pulborough say 'there's nothing wrong with it'!!!!. Suggestions, except setting fire to it, would be appreciated

sounds turbo related maybe somthink as small as a split turbo pipe it happened to our 200tdi defender and it just did not want to know any size hill and know how anoying it is to have pushbike bikes flying past you ha ha

Thanks - I'll explore that one this weekend - your right - push-bikes passing is pain but what's more of a pain is the 'denial' by Land Rover that this vehicle 'doesn't have a problem' when EVERYONE who drives it knows it does.

yes your right we had a disco td5 but paying the bill from harwoods of pulborough ourselfs we in the end sold it as they are rediculouse but yeh just have a look i no the possibility are endless with a td5 but it seriosly sound tourbo related
