My Father, who is not with us now, would absolutely swear by using original Spam for Carp fishing. He was 100% convinced that he got more fish with it.
I, being more balanced in my assessment, would use any luncheon meat. I could not see the difference and seemed to get as many with any kind.
It just goes to show that opinions do vary and sometimes we need all of the facts and use our own experience to form opinions.
More opinions, especially experienced opinions are better than fewer.
