Afternoon all.
Last year I decided to by the car of my dreams instead of driving old bangers and vans.
A year ago I bought a Range rover autobiography tdv8 2008 private on ebay (yes I know). And to be honest, the geezer stitched me right up.
I have spent over £5k on it since I bought it, and still have two more faults on it to get fixed.
Firstly I have a clunking noise when I accelerate heavy, and when I put my door down it shudders and makes a bad jumping noise. I have been told that it could be the splines on the prob shaft, or worse, a drive chain inside engine? Is there such a thing for the later?
Secondly, I have a suspension fault that's coming up soon as I turn engine on. A mechanic I have been using said that it's possible I have got air inside the hydrolic system from leaking seals?
It would be much appreciated if I could get some help and advice, instead of paying specialists £175 an hour to give me even more bad news.
Hope you can help
Cheers
Rob

Hello & welcome.
Air in an "Air Suspension" system is quite normal. It isn't hydraulic at all.
The guys in the RR section will help see you right. Good Luck!
