Hello All,

Not read a single thread yet, so looking forward to going through some present and old posts.

I have driven in many countries around Africa and Middle East driving 4x4's (for work), but would not consider myself experienced at all, and defo a newbie compared to some of you on here, I am sure. Been doing my research and I am torn to what 4x4 to buy....so hope to find inspiration here to make the right decision....

Welcome to the mad house ;)
Your overseas driving experience is impressive, but the only advice I'm happy to give relates to RR classics as my experience of other LR products is confined to series 3 models from many years back.

Thank you for the welcome email...
A good friend of mine, has just bought a old style RR and he is currently pimping it all out for a 4x4 challenge in Kenya for 2018 (Rhino Charge). You can see some footage on youtube( ) and you can see all the different vehicles used. A lot are modified for the event , but they do have a 4x4 standard competition as well. So if we have any questions reference his RR, I know who to ask.

To be honest my experience stems from 16 years ownership of four RRC's. I don't profess to be a mechanic but having to pay the many invoices leads to knowledge :(
You will however find a wealth of RR technical experience on this forum & people happy to help you with problems / advice.
