Hi Guys,

Driving a Td5 2001 110. I recently had my transfer case change and since 2 weeks I am starting to get the sensation on the motorway (100-110km/h) like my landy is constantly driving into gusts of wind. The truck very lightly seams to build up a resistance in the drivetrain that is coming from the front axel and it feels exactly like geting hit head-on with a gust of wind. I live in the north of Spain so sometimes we are exposed to high wind gusts but not lately. I have a few ideals.

a.) it could be wheel bears or fron diff. But I hear no mechanical noises. also driving big circles on parking lots I head nothing unusual. Oil seams to be fine too.

b.)I know that my clutch needs to be changed sooner then later but I have the sensation also when I am not in gear so that kind of out rules the clutch for me. (Not that I am right about this, just saying). Also my Turbo is whistling (cannot figure out why either, all tubes replaced) since a while but I dont think its a engine performance problem as I have the sensation without any power on the drivetrain.

Any ideals where I should focus on. I need to know what it could be before going to a mechanic here in spain, because most of these guys are a bit freestyle.

Thanks

E
