Just wanted to offer praise where praise is due.
It's hard to come across a decent landrover repair specialist to aoiv paying stealer prices but I bit the bullet and took my freelander to TJC Landrovers in Weasenham, Nr Fakenham and Swaffham in Norfolk.
On the phone max was very helpful and listened to the concerns I had about my vehicle, anyway to cut a long story short this is the work I had done at my request.
-Gear oil drained and renewed
-IRD oil drained and renewed
-Rear diff drained and renewed
-Annoying rattle ive had for ages identified (cat converter)
-Main headlight beams adjusted (they pointed up at almost 45degrees when in position 0, now work a treat.
-Awkward getting into first gear problem (engineer bleed clutch hydraulics for me and now it feels sweet and crisp!
- Handbrakes sticking on, engineer flushed out and greased mechs in rear drums
-courtesy car for the day
All oils and labour for the list above came to £170
Very polite and helpfull people, and a great workshop area (rebuilds, repairs, projects, bodywork etc)
All in all im very happy and wouldnt hesitate to recommend to others.
