Hi all,
I've got a Swb Series 3 1975 with a 200tdi fitted ( from a discovery as far as I know and the turbo is removed). It's a really great driver but I need to replace the Front Exhaust pipe as it's badly rusted in parts. The backbox and intermediate exhaust pipe are the original Series 3 diesel parts and are in ok condition. The Front pipe has a piece welded on to attach to the manifold to suit when the engine was altered to the 200tdi [ minus the turbo ].
Just checking what would be the most suitable standard Front Pipe that I can order to avoid any un-necessary welding / fabrication.

Thanks

If the original pipe was altered to accommodate the engine change, you may need to have the new piece altered also. I would imagine a new front down pipe for the 200tdi would be the best thing to get and then decide how you can mate it to the remainder. You can buy a piece of flexi pipe that may join the two together.

Yes as above if the manifold is original to the engine and not from a 2.5 n/a I think they are different.
