well i have settled for a 200 TDI to fit into my county 1988 SWB.

Can anyone tell me what tweeks will have to be done to accomadate the TDI unit.

Also what are the benifts with this engine im told they pull well??

I Think (not 100%) but it should just slot straight on to the original mountings or that might be the 300??, maybe slight mods to wiring loom and pipes.
It is a very good engine though plent of torque low down which is ideal for off roading/towing and will quite happily sit at 75 all day on the motorway. Very simple to work on/service and non of the problen of the early TD engines. In my opinion very good, versitile engine

Thanks for that,

Also what other work could be done whilst this engine is out?, IE Pressure wash engine bay? OR any engine mods which would not damage the new engine??

Also i would like it painted British Army Green the Matt Colour if ya know what i mean...Also do they spray that colour on or Paint it???

what else would my 90 benfit from service wise whilst in the work shop?

Any tips on Painting or spraying please comment PLEASE!!
