Just curious really, but I'm about to put a couple of interior lights in the back of my hardtop and wonderred if it would be possible to have them on 2 switches like you have for landing lights at home? So they can be switched on and off from 2 locations/switches.

This is not an auto system but the principle is the same.

So just the same way as you'd do it on house lights then.

But what sort of switch is needed, the 3 way toggle switches are on off on, would I need a 2 way 3 pole?

Single Pole, Double Throw (SPDT) that suits your dash or whatever style you need.
