Hi gents and ladies,
after trying and failing to use a universal kit on my defender windows, i ended up buying a pair of standard motors for later models.
They work great once the interior door panel is modified to accommodate the motor, its just a creature comfort i have been hankering after.
Anyway thought i would add the windows to my switch bank, and use the RDX K switches, the wiring set up is stolen from the universal kit and works great, with the switches in the universal kit. I thought it would be relatively simple swapping the terminals around to the new switch and hey presto.
While it all works properly with the cheap switches, the RDX K switch is not seeming to work.
On the cheap switches there are five terminals stacked vertically. These are:
Output 1
Negative
Positive
Negative
Output 2
On the RDX K switch there are 7 terminals, and i don't have a wiring diagram.
Ive got this wired up with one of the two negatives in my loom i get light on the switch and 13.8 volts on the outputs by putting.
output 1 - terminal 1
Positive - Terminal 2
Output 2 - Terminal 3
Negative - terminal 7.
As far as in understand if there is Volts coming out the other side of the switch we should be all good but it aint chooching. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for these K switches? or advice.
