electric window

hello all have got myself a new os rear window motor,
with the bracket with cable but what i need to know is
how do i bolt the cable plate to the window(when i took door card off to have a look there was a stick holding the glass up) so there is nothing to look at.

well if found out the clamps is called(Friction pad) now if got to find one

was there not any on the new unit you brought or any on the window on the back door I think there is only one but may be some body else may know different

hope this doesn't come across as rude, but could u take the other door panel off to see how it all fits together , so you've got a mirror image as u work on the door

that's a good one G S I wonder if I have any left on the wife's old ones I always save them you know just in case in which I have tons of the stuff for just in case I will take a look

hi that is the thing in the video i have just got but there is no bracket to attach the cable/plate to the glass. have emailed the seller and they dont sell the (friction clamp)

these should have the clamp u need

well smack me after making a nice clamp to hold the friction rubber.
put the new motor/gear on lowers the glass and the old bracket was still on the window.
so all is well and window work just need the sun now.
