Hi guys I’ve bought my first land rover discovery 2 td5 and it ad some leather seats put in and not wired them up I’m wanting to move seat forward can I take a live and earth wire straight to motor just to move it forward if so anyone no colours they are thanks

Welcome and good luck with rewiring, fuses and relays.
Quite a bit of a fuss to do but can be done with help of the RAVE circuit diagram manual. And don't forget to wire up the seat heating element while you are at it.
