It all started when I took the batteries out of my key fob to see what size they were so I could get ones for my second key. Being male I jumped in without realising the fob would need re-synchronising. Remote didn't work so I tried in the ignition, wouldn't start, enter keycode engine disabled etc. etc.

That was last night when it was cold and dark so I left it. As I thought I was going to have to the EKA anyway I took the battery out this morning to give it a charge as turnover wasn't very lively.

Put the battery back in, reconnected it. Tried key in ignition, only engine disabled displayed. Got out, closed door, re-synched key, got in put key in ignition and it started.

No need for EKA. Why not? Lucky, buggerd alarm or did I develop ninja skills in my sleep?
