Egr valve removal

hiya.

Im going over the freelander bit by bit checking the things recommended to me.

ive try to find the details about the egr valve and basically what it does.

alot of web sites say that i should remove it and get a blanking plate.

hope its ok to ask but wouldnt wish to do anything like that without asking you guys first.

EGR bypass kits are available from eBay. Do a search on there and you should find them. The black one is the better of the two apparently! Also do a search on here as it has been covered loads of times already and should answer all your questions!

just done my td4 **** easy 20 minute job,and feels a wee bit livelier on pick up,would recommend it

i was ok with the series 3's but this is a completely different beast.

im a former gas safe boiler engineer if i can ever help anyone it would be my pleasure to offer any advice i can.

are there any green laning around swanley kent had a look but cannot find anything.

wished to get advice on how to safely drive and use this freelander off road, only gentle stuff, ie grass hill, mud etc.
