If Ive only got £1500 to spend on a LWB Landy (for my gardening business) What sort of fuel economy can I expect to get and from which models ?

Are there a lot of converted V8s out there? What sort of economy do they give? And can you get gas in enough places in Cornwall? Also, would it have a big gas cylinder hogging the space in the back? As I do need a lot of space.

Where about's?
I saw it/one of them near Camelford 9th April 2007. Got a good 4 or 5 minutes of looking through my little Russian telescope at it, it looked really relaxed and at home.

near Bolventor. no more than 25yds away - had a gun in me hands at the time too. stood looking at me for 2 or 3 minutes, then wandered back into the trees. me dawg was **** scared.

There's at least one family (maybe more) of Pumas living on the moor. They are descendants of escapees from a private zoo back in the 1970s. There's plenty of deer, sheep etc for them to live on, and plenty of space.
They rarely get seen because they're shy creatures and there's plenty of woodland and scrub for them to remain hidden in. Officialdom won't acknowledge their existance because they don't know what or whether they should do about them.

I heard plenty of rumours - including rumours of big cats here in the Forest of Dean. Tend to take it with a pinch of salt, but if you sin one down that way then WOW. I think that is fantastic. Please tell me your not winding me up..........

You could get an early 200tdi defender 110 for that money easily. Land Rovers and economy don't really go well together though, so if you want an economic van for carrying loads you should get one of these.
