I was leaving work on Wednesday and heard a clicking noise in time with the wheels.
When I looked for the noise I found it coming from the drivers side rear wheel , I think the disc was warped it's time to change them anyway so I got a set of discs shoes and pads.
When I took the disc off I found one of the retaining clips for the shoes had split in two and fallen off. The shoe banging off the disc caused the clicking noise.
The kit I bought did not come with springs or retaining clips and pins so I went as far as taking out the old shoes then pulled the key from the ignition and of course the handbrake came on and made some bad noises. I pulled the emergency release cable and the hand brake is off but the cable on that wheel is not out enough to attach a shoe.
How do I get enough cable in the drum and have I possibly striped the plastic cogs in the Epb module?
Sorry for the long post and any help appreciated.
Jim
