I noticed a small hiss from the connections on the eas valves under the bonnet, I fiddled around with them and managed to reduce the leak but not cure it, I then had a brainwave... I completely vented the system, let all the air out, then I used a product called captain toleys creeping crack cure, available from chandlers, it creeps into the crack by capillary action then sets, you repeat two or three times every half hour until no more creeps in, then I left it overnight and when I started up it is completely fine, and now the car doesnt sag overnight like it used to, I'm well chuffed!

But maybe you will never get the pipe out again!!! I would have thought it better to cut a little off the pipe and re-fit it, that usually cures the problem. Failing that replace the O rings in the connector.

the stuff does come undone again its a bit like loctite, the previous owner has already done the cut and refit trick with the pipework to the point that there's no free play, so when I fit new bags I'll replace the pipes aswell, but this works as a semi permenant temporary fix
