Evening all, I have been having issues now with my EAS on my 4.6 since October! First the piston in the new compressor snapped so bought a new, fitted it and all was fine! Week later car was on bump stops so LR replaced the compressor and all was good for 2 weeks while me n the mrs were on holiday. On way home car dropped onto the stops again  pi$$ed off I called LR who said it won't be a fault with the compressor so they won't change it again!! Went the wammers how to and checked compressor thermal switch etc. changed the rear bags and then changed o rings in the valve block, connected it all up and started the car EAS FAULT!!!! FFS! got it plugged in and was FL. Signal incorrect?? Duff height sensor? So I bought a brand new one and fitted it. Still won't rise! Had it plugged in again and fault cleared....... Then the pump would only turn on when it was asked too off the computer, not when it was supposed to on the car! Anyway bit more playing around it all started working fine :D happy days!!! Drove home yesterday put it into access mode and now it won't go up  any ideas?

Any help much appreciated, really at a loose end

I have been thru the how to a handful of times and all seems in order, thermal switch is fine, replaced o rings in valve block, checked the airlines with a fine tooth comb and changed the rear bags as thought they looked tatty, no leaks tho. Can bridge the compressor leave the car up for days parked and it doesn't drop at all. The system works fine after it's been plugged in then it just goes back to normal and sits in access mode?!

Then i suggest you look at the pressure switch or it's connections. With engine running there should be power to pin 1 of relay 20 if not the ECU is not pulling the relay. That can be cause by duff pressure switch or circuit or duff thermal switch or circuit. There HAS to be continuity from Orange wire to black wire on compressor plug. DO NOT put power to Orange wire under any circumstances. And pressure switch has to be open circuit. Non of this circuitry if faulty will show on diag. You have to check it manually.
