Hi again,
I need to lower the tow ball a bit to enable the rear step to be fully folded down. If you're wondering why - I carry a trials motorcycle using a removeable rack for which one part remains in place on the vehicle and this part prevents the step being folded down, if you see what I mean! I can solve the problem by fitting a drop plate of some sort. Is this a standard Landy part or will I need to have one made specially?
Many thanks,
Barry

When I used to carry the trials bike I found the best place for the 'permanent' bit was at the very top of the towplate, above the actual towball. Nowadays I have a removable towplate so it isn't an issue.

If you want to use the step, I presume it's the hydraulic, foldable step, you might need to get something like a Dixon-Bate movable towplate fitting.

Personally I'd take the step off .. ;)
