Hi everybody.
We picked up our Disco (1999 TD5 XS) last night and already it's a love affair!
It came with a full service history and 62k on the clock. Everything works on it - the sunroof leaks which we knew about, but after reading various threads on this forum we punted for it anyway.
We have already taken it off road, as last night we parked it on my front lawn, up the bank, as a giggle!
Only one thing... On the drivers seat (half leather interior) the rake adjuster knob just seems to turn as if it were not connected to anything.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?
I'm sure when I get a chance to look at it, it will be obvious what is wrong, but any gems of wisdom in advance would be welcomed and appreciated.
