Door locking issue

Hi everyone,

Newbie here. Just bought a P38 in otherwise excellent condition. Just the locking is a bit frustrating. The FOB locks and unlocks the rear doors. The key locks and unlocks the rear doors (and obviously the drivers door) but front passenger door is only operable manually.

It obviously points to a failure in the front passenger locking mechanism but would that effect the drivers door too?

I don't know how the FOB system works, actually thinking about it I don't know how the manual system works either! What should I look to be looking at? Both front doors? Both locking mechanisms?

Any help would really be appreciated by me and my physio as leaning over to unlock is taking its toll already!

Hi, sounds like both front locks have burnt out due to your rf receiver, you need to upgrade rf receiver to the latest one then change/repair front locks. If you do a search for rf recievers all will be explained.
