Does anyone want a 300tdi 90 chassis for free?

After next week I will have completely stripped my Defender 90 300tdi 1998 to the chassis as I'm rebuilding it upon a new galv one so the original chassis is surplus to requirement. If anyone near North Hampshire wants it, and can collect it, they are welcome. I don't want anything for it, I just need to get rid of it. The local scrap metal merchant said its only worth about £10 as scrap so they won't even collect it for free.

It's in a fair condition but needs some repair, the driver's side tub outrigger has completely rusted off and there are rust holes on the bulkhead outrigger. As far as I'm aware everything else is OK.

If no one is interested I will be taking a grinder to it so I can transport it to the scrap yard myself but as this seems to be a bit of a waste, I thought I would see if any of the lovely LandyZone folks would like it?

If you give it away you lose the Identity for your rebuild, you need to cut off the front chassis leg with the chassis number on it to prove you scrapped the old one, it would ge illegal for someone to put your old chassis back on the road.....you would end up with 2 trucks with the same chassis number, do the right thing and cut it up....
