Dodgy door lock.

The front passenger door has taken to opening on its own!

Can anyone advise on how to service to locks and linkages etc?

Couple of plastic parts feel out when i took the door card off, look like there from the push button!

What do you guys use to replace the clear plastic sheet thats under the door card?

Gizza clue!

What sort of door is it?

Posh one-piece with windy up windies or a slam?

Try tightening the 3 screws on the edge of the door, and make sure that the door catch locates onto the pin on the landy body ... they can wear and move a bit.

its 2004 110 front passenger door. central lockings abit hit and miss to!

wouldnt want the dog, kids, better half to fall out would I!

Could it be that your central locking that isn't fully releasing?

Have you tried disconnecting the CL and seeing if it still happens on manual?
