Hi,

I searched the group but could'nt see an answer so here goes....

On pulling away and at low speeds I can hear and feel what can only be
described as a 'clunk' from the drivers side footwell of my '95
Discovery (300tdi). It's coming from that side of the front wheel. I'm
thinking CV joint/wheel bearing but can anyone help me diagnose it?
Whilst I'm fixing it, what other jobs are worth doing whilst in that
area as a matter of course?

All info/help appreciatted.

I had this happen to me after work on the swivel, turned out to be that a
retaining bolt had fallen out of the brake calliper which was now moving
forward and backward. I found this out after I lost the brakes when the
small brake pipe from the flexible to the calliper fractured. NOT nice!!!

Peter.
