So after introducing myself last week, and ordering a load of parts i thought I’d start a build/progress thread.

After picking it up last weekend, I have already fitted a couple of new parts.

Full new exhaust system, unsilenced centre section and decat down pipe.

Fitted a boost pin and tweaked the pump a bit. Much better result than I could have imagined!

Have now just finished ordering the parts for the 4” lift setup I’m going for. Will post some pics as they turn up throughout the week.

Looks nice! Very clean. Can assure you it won't stay that way if you're taking it offroad. But they can take it

Let us know when you go out and I'll pop along if you like.

Yeah in very good condition! Apparently has only ever had road use by the previous owner, he looked a bit said when I said it would be used off road!

Just got home to a living room full of parcels!

+2”springs
+5” Terrafirma shocks
All the various other parts needed to fit the shocks
Front and rear wide angle props
Front and rear dislocation cones
+6” extended brake lines

The remaining parts are supposed to be turning up throughout the week, and will hopefully attempt to fit it all this weekend;)

Yeah mate definatly! Been itching to get out in it but didn’t wanna go anywhere too mad!

Ohh and I’m pretty sure it from seeing your pictures it was your discovery I saw a couple weeks back along the rainham top road, that made me decide I was going to get a discovery

Parts look good, looks like you spent a small fortune there!

Not sure if that was me, I don't remember if I have ever driven up around there but there are a few other disco's with the same colour as mine going about! I haven't had mine out in a few weeks because I've been doing the welding

Must have been one of them then mate

So got cracking on the discovery last weekend, after a week of soaking all the bolts in wd40!

Got the rear suspension completely finished apart from the extended rear hose.

Also fitted the New heavy duty cranked rear arms.
Now to attempt the front this weekend along with the front and rear props.

Any tips on making it an easier and faster job will be much appreciated, as it was 2 very long days by myself:D
