disco sills

hello everyone

I have a 200tdi and the sills have decided to die a horrible death on me. The plastic covers decided to fall off whilst laning. (i picked them up) this then showed me the lack of metal on the sills. so as there is now no material really there a patch job is a no no and need to replace them.

my question is, instead of using thin metal panels could i cut the remaining sill off and replace with steel box section? Would this then give me jackable sills?

yes ya can use box section,if you do a search you,ll find wot yer need ta know about it

4x2" box is what ya need mate,
