Help!
Bought this vehicle used recently - haven't gotten my owner's manual yet.
Does anyone know how to activate the "cruise control"? Have the cruise
control buttons on the steering wheel but can't figure out how to
activate it . . . .?
Also when I got it the back windows worked fine . . . now they work when
they want to. When I first start up . . . they will work. Then I drive
around a bit and when I try - neither work. Front's work all the time.
Maybe in pushing buttons trying to figure out what works and what
doesn't - I did something?
Anyone know where the fuse box is?

Thanks,
Karen

I can't remember on this one, but is there a button on the dash that you
have to press first? - might have a motorway type symbol on, something
like that.

That's a common problem. It is a bad connection in the electric windows
ECU (behind the glove box) if you are any good with electronics, you can
re-solder the connection quite easily. The worst part is getting the
ECU board out, but it is not too hard to do.

Just found this fix on this website - http://www.discoweb.org/ (go to
the Tech section and find "rear electric windows")

There's a master switch on the centre console at the bottom, as
Matthew says it looks like a motorway symbol. If that is on and it
still doesn't work, then you have a duff cruise control. That's
pretty common on a 10 year old Disco - either the brake pedal switch
is duff / needs adjustment or the vacuum hose has one or more splits.

It won't activate under about 30mph anyway.
