Disco Cruise problem

I have recently bought a 96 V8i 3.9 Disc Auto and love it. Drinks a fair bit of petrol but not as bad as I expected. Owned a freelander 2.0 diesel previous which was fine but not as much fun as the Disco.

Working my way aroung the controls and found the cruise control does'nt work anyone have any ideas. :rofl:

the first thing i would do is check the air lines controling the cruise control, i bought a 96 disco last year and the cruise didn't work, rather than taking it in for service i checked the manual and found which hoses were part of the cruise control and checked each one, i found the ends of one hose were frayed so i trimmed a couple of centimetres off the hose and it worked perfect. hope this helps
